SUNSHINE COAST KIDS HOLIDAY WORKSHOPS

Four local artists will be facilitating these creative programs over the September School holidays for the enjoyment of YOUNG ARTISTS and their creative hearts.

Holly Milner, who is a published illustrator and water colour artists

Aime Grey, who is an award winning filmmaker and Stop animation guru

Chony Bowden, who is an intuitive artists and arts educator

Adelle Rutch, who is a local ceramicist and all round huge hearted human

These art workshops will only proceed if there are 10 students enrolled the day prior to them commencing. If the class is not full, you will be informed and your payment will be returned to you.

These workshops are for YOUNG ARTISTS from 6-12 years of age.

What to bring 

Please bring a water bottle and an art apron or shirt. 

 

When to arrive / Pick Up

Facilitators will open the doors 5 minutes prior to the commencement of the session. Prior to this your child will be unsupervised, as facilitators will be setting up to ensure the smooth running of the sessions.

 

Please arrive on time to pick up your child.

 

Refunds

You are entitled to a full refund if you have to cancel your registration a week prior to the class commencing. You will receive a refund of half of the session if you cancel the session up to 48 hours prior. No refund will be granted if you cancel on the day or 24 hours prior - this is because we buy materials based on numbers.

 

Behaviour Code of Conduct

We have written this code of conduct that applies to all students who attend any classes facilitated by Chony's Art Room/School. Our goal is to provide a calm, respectful and positive space, in which all students have a fair amount of attention from the teachers. If we deem that a child is unable to do the following consistently over a two week period we will ask them kindly to find a better suited art studio and some of your fees will be reimbursed (depending on amount of time having attended).

 

*Can concentrate for and remain calm for 1.5 hours

*Is able to follow instructions

*Shows consistent respect towards teachers, themselves, other students and the environment

*Is willing to clean up their art equipment after use

*Does not consistently distract others or the teachers

*Wants to be there 

*Is respectful of others space

*Demonstrates independence
