Chony's Art Room's core beliefs are derived from over 20 years experience as a practicing multi-disciplinary artist and arts educator. Her breadth of experience spanse 10 years in Europe, Asia, America, Papua New Guinea, some Indigenous communities of Central Australia and the Northern Territory, together with over 10 years in Melbourne.

 

Currently, Chony interweaves her art therapy and visual arts qualifications to provide art classes and workshops that include a huge variety of art materials, techniques and processes for all ages, abilities and spaces across the beautiful Sunshine Coast.

 

From years of direct experience working in and being immersed within the 'arts' across the globe, Chony has witnessed the positive effects that a regular arts based practice can have on the well being of all human beings. 

 

Chony is a warm and joyful facilitator who encourages her students to develop their own unique artistic style, rather than reproducing artworks that have been made by other artists.
